### *Maintenance – If You Skip, Y18 Dies*
1. *Oiler compulsory*: Rock drill oil via inline oiler – 1 drip per 5 seconds. Dry Y18 seizes in 1 day
2. *Daily*: Flush with kerosene at end of day – Removes granite dust
3. *Blow hose*: Blow air hose before connecting – Dust kills Y18 valve
4. *Don’t run dry*: If no oil, stop.

1. *Fake Y18*: Light weight 15kg = fake, low power. Real Y18 = 18kg+
2. *Check piston*: Remove bit, look inside – Piston must be shiny, no scoring
3. *For granite hard*: Use 40mm button bit, not chisel. Button drills 3x faster
4. *Air pressure*: Must be 5-6 bar stable. Below 4 bar, Y18 weak, bit sticks
5. *Safety*: Ear muff + goggles + gloves – 120db noise, granite chips fly
